Mount Washington is located on a hilltop directly south of the city of Pittsburgh. The generally accepted boundaries are Route 19 to the south and Grandview Avenue to the north (marking the ends of the hill on the bottom and top respectively), and Hallock Street to the west and Warrington Avenue to the east.
